Selling a collection of vintage 1970's era golf gloves in a variety of colors. These are one of the first gloves to incorporate a VELCRO closure and were of very high quality made in the UK. These specimens all come in the original window sleeve with hang tag. I am including pictures of two legends of golf, Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino wearing the Star Grip glove. This glove was very popular with the professional golfers on the PGA Tour of the time. This is testament that these were, "the best of the best", and displayed the utmost in quality in materials and manufacture.
This cache contains 25 gloves all in Men's Left Hand in size Medium. There are various colors available, both in the fine leather and with contrasting colors in the VELCRO tab. The fine leather is from Pittard's Tanneries in England which is world famous for quality as well as producing fine leather gloves for the Royal Family. These gloves are over 50 years old yet they are in remarkable condition for their age. The leather is in perfect condition, still soft and pliable with bright bold colors, but the synthetic material which makes up the VELCRO closure does show some light yellowing with some of the gloves.

I am selling these gloves in pairs only to help offset the cost of shipping. The cost of a pair of gloves is $35.00 with shipping within the USA included. I cannot accept special requests for a particular color at this time. I will try to sort each order so you receive one colored glove and one white. Please consider the age of these gems from the past and that while they are new, unused, and in the original packaging, there is some slight effect of time and aging. I do believe that you will not be disappointed, especially if you are a collector of fine golf equipment from the past.
